Following their appearance on BBC TV's Lulu Show on the 15th February 1975 The Shadows went on to represent the United Kingdom in the Eurovision Song Contest with the viewers choice "Let Me Be The One". The Contest was held on Saturday 22nd March 1975 in Stockholm, Sweden with 19 competing countries. Despite taking an early leas The Shadows were beaten into 2nd place by the Netherlands with their now obscure entry "Ding A Dong"
